Axil 1689 was designed for applications where a high tack is required for bonding aluminum foil to plasterboard, rockwool and other insulation materials. Axil 1689 has been specifically developed to offer customers a simple, versatile, sprayable adhesive. However, due to the versatility of Axil 1689 and its superior heat resistance, it has found many diverse applications in various industries. It is unsuitable for bonding plasticised PVC which will require a polyurethane adhesive grade.
