Description

Product Features

With Plexus MA310, you get a combination of high strength and stiffness. It also bonds a wide range of materials. Some of its key substrates are acrylics, polycarbonate, TPUs, gelcoat, epoxy-based composites, metals that are powder coated or e-coated, stainless steel and others. It has a minimum working time of 15 minutes and a 1:1 mix ratio.

Curing Time

Curing time is an important factor to consider when selecting the right adhesive. Plexus MA310 adhesive offers a variety of benefits for a wide range of applications, including fast curing times. This makes Plexus MA310 one of the most reliable adhesives available today, no matter what type of job you’re tackling.

Plexus MA310 has a working time of 15 minutes and a fixture time of 45 minutes.

Application

Plexus MA310 is dispensed either manually or with stainless steel bulk dispensers. 1:1 metre mix equipment can be used for automated applications to deliver both components to a static mixer. During the specified working time, surfaces must be mated to ensure maximum bond strength.

Be sure to use enough material when clamping and mating the parts. Fixturing, positioning and applying adhesive should all be completed within the working time of the mix.

Once the indicated working time has passed, parts should be left undisturbed until the fixture time has expired.

Clean-Up

If the adhesive has not yet cured, cleaning up will be easier. Use citrus terpene or NMP-based cleaners, degreasers and soap and water to achieve the best results. When the adhesive is cured, try scraping it gently and then wiping it with a cleaning agent.
